Fair Play Vouchers

FairPlay is Now Open!

What’s the program about?

Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child or young person, which can be used towards membership, registration or participation fees with registered activity providers.

Who’s eligible?
Eligible applicants are Queensland children and young people aged 5 to 17 (inclusive) who either:

Please note that there is a limit of one voucher per child/young person per calendar year, applications are open twice a year. If a child receives a voucher in the summer (January-April) round of the program, they will not be eligible to apply for the winter (July-September) round of the same year.

The expiry date for Round 3 vouchers is 11 November 2020 and the voucher redemption expiry is
25 November 2020.

Due to the issues surrounding COVID-19 and the postponement of sport and recreation at all levels,Round 2 FairPlay voucher redemption expiry has been extended to 25 November 2020 in line with the Round 3 expiry dates. If your organisation has already redeemed FairPlay vouchers for round 2, retain these funds and credit participants when your activities resume.

You can also give any unredeemed vouchers back to the parent or guardian, if they ask.

As part of the FairPlay terms and conditions for activity providers, you can’t provide a refund for any part of a voucher to a parent or guardian. However, you can be guided by your own internal refund policies for the remaining registration or membership fees.

Updating your details
If you would like to make any changes to your organisation’s details please come the Activity Provider update form. Please allow up to 10 business days for these changes to be reflected on the Activity Provider directory.

Please note: vouchers can only be redeemed by the approved activity provider’s key contact(s) by logging in to their personal QGrants account. This account is linked to the activity provider’s account. To redeem vouchers click the ‘Applications’ tab followed by the ‘Redeem Vouchers’ tab.
