Young gun Logan Beutel has etched his name into the Coolum history books scoring a magnificent century on Keith Manthey oval at Gympie Saturday.
The 18 year old’s knock was a mixture of patience & toil as he produced 100 from 203 balls, including six 4’s, out of a team total of 185.
Beutel who is currently in the Sunshine Coast Scorchers wider training squad, becomes the third first division centurion behind the experienced duo of Sam Curtis (3) and Brendan Kelly (1).
At the close of play Gympie were 3-50 in reply, with the match in the balance.
