Tewantin-Noosa Cricket Club in partnership with Cooroy-Eumundi Cricket Club and Coolum Cricket Club are excited to announce the Master Blasters in the Northern Hub will have the opportunity to play their cricket matches as a curtain raiser for the ICC T20 Womens game between Pakistan and the West Indies on Sunday the 9th of February at Read Park, Tewantin. We would like to encourage you to attend the ICC T20 Womens game after the Master Blasters have played their games. The game between Pakistan and West Indies is scheduled to start after the Master Blasters have concluded.
The scheduled Friday night games on the 7th of February has been moved to Sunday the 9th of February. The Sunshine Coast Cricket Association has changed the draw on My Cricket. Games are scheduled to start at 9:30 am on the 9th of February and must conclude at 11:30am. The games will run as usual with the fields set up in the outfield of Read Park.
The change to the draw results in Coolum and Tewantin swapping home games, as it was Coolum Cricket Clubs night to host the Master Blasters on the 7th of February. Coolum Cricket Clubs home game will now move to the 14th of February.
Queensland Cricket will be in attendance on the day with activities for the parents, players and spectators. Brisbane Heat sponsors CUA will be at the ground with giveaways as well. Food and Drink vans will be set up at the ground. Parking will be available close to the ground. West Indies cricketing legends Gus Logie and Courtney Walsh will also be in attendance.
Tewantin-Noosa Cricket Club would like to organise for 7 players from each club to have the opportunity to run onto the field just before play and meet the players for a signature before play commences at each innings. If you would like your player to participate in this please see your Unit Co-ordinator at your club to nominate your player.
